Available Contractual Positions (2026)

NLUD invites applications for the following full-time contractual roles under Project 39A:

1️⃣ Litigation Cum Research Associate

  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Conduct legal and empirical research
    • Assist in litigation strategy and drafting
    • Work with senior advocates and courts
    • Prepare reports, policy briefs, and research publications
    • Contribute to death penalty research projects

Eligibility:

  • Law graduate (LL.B.)
  • Strong knowledge of criminal law
  • Proficiency in English + at least one Indian language

⭐ Desirable:

  • Experience in litigation/research
  • Published legal work

Academic Fellow

  • Number of Posts: 01

🧾 Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage research and policy projects

🎓 Eligibility:

  • LL.M. or Master’s degree (minimum 55% marks)

  • Monthly Salary: ₹50,000 (subject to 10% TDS)
