NLUD invites applications for the following full-time contractual roles under Project 39A:
1️⃣ Litigation Cum Research Associate
- Number of Posts: 01
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal and empirical research
- Assist in litigation strategy and drafting
- Work with senior advocates and courts
- Prepare reports, policy briefs, and research publications
- Contribute to death penalty research projects
Eligibility:
- Law graduate (LL.B.)
- Strong knowledge of criminal law
- Proficiency in English + at least one Indian language
⭐ Desirable:
- Experience in litigation/research
- Published legal work
Academic Fellow
- Number of Posts: 01
🧾 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage research and policy projects
- Coordinate with institutions and stakeholders
- Conduct empirical and qualitative research
- Organize workshops and events

🎓 Eligibility:
- LL.M. or Master’s degree (minimum 55% marks)
- Strong academic background

Salary & Contract Duration
- Monthly Salary: ₹50,000 (subject to 10% TDS)
- Duration: 1 year (extendable based on performance and funding)
